Glass said there were multiple discussions between the board and the developer on whether the housing requirement was meant to include a private dormitory. The final agreement is still being worked out, but any Planning Board approvals are conditioned on the agreement being signed, city Planning Director Brad Glass said this week. It would also be an unusual way to provide additional affordable housing in the city while avoiding a direct challenge to the city’s affordable housing requirement under its zoning code. ![]()
